Overview:
ISLH & ERN-EuroBloodNet, Topic on Focus: Rare Coagulation Disorders is an online educational program targeting health professionals organized by ISLH and ERN-EuroBloodNet.
The program consists of a cycle of 3 webinars focused on Rare Coagulation Disorders, developed in collaboration with the ERN-EuroBloodNet and ISLH coordination teams: Prof Béatrice Gulbis, Laboratoire Hospitalier Universitaire de Bruxelles, Belgium, Prof Katrien Devreese, Ghent University Hospital, Belgium, and Dr Chee Wee Tan, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia.
The main objective of this program is to disseminate up-to-date knowledge among interested hematologists, internists, pediatricians, and any healthcare providers to give visibility to cutting-edge advances in the field of rare coagulation disorders. These disorders, including FXI deficiency, inherited fibrinogen disorders, and hemophilia, have significant implications for patient management and treatment strategies.
This program will address pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment approaches to improve patient care. Webinars will be recorded, and the videos will be integrated into the ISLH and ERN-EuroBloodNet e-learning environments to create enduring educational material on coagulation disorders.
ISLH & ERN-EuroBloodNet Topic on Focus: Rare Coagulation Disorders is conducted using the Zoom platform. It allows full audio and visual communication, as well as interaction between the webinar speakers and participants. Each webinar will last one hour, including the speaker's presentation and a Q&A session with attendees.
